public sector. In turn building relationships with the OFT and many trade associations both in the UK and the USA.
Also as part of the role I’ve managed departments in both the UK and USA to support our customers.
Apr ’00 – June 2009 Head of Business Development, (UK, Channel Islands) Planmaster Systems Ltd,
Beaconsfield.
Product: Financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation software and services to the FTSE 350 and
wider market.
The role required me to work entirely at the front end of the organisation generating new business through creativity
and sheer hard work. This was achieved through a combination of both strategic and solution selling. I am responsible
for the marketing, networking and managing a team of six, a combination of both consultants and sales people. I also
meet with many of the Financial Directors and Financial Controllers that make up both the FTSE 100 and the FTSE
250 in an effort to further Planmaster’s business opportunities. Given this role, I now have more than 2000 contacts
and relationships within this arena, and feel this could be both valuable and transferable to many organisations.
