Professional Experience:
> PepsiCo; Valhalla, NY
March 2013 - September 2013
Equipment Development Engineer (Contract)
. Aid in design, development, and market implementation of pressure,
temperature, and time sensitive vending prototypes to enter the
market with a focus on quality management, consumer interaction
and sales
. Troubleshoot and document mechanical, electrical and software
error during laboratory and market tests to ensure limited market
test errors as well as design and implement troubleshooting
techniques for field evaluation
. Technical testing, design, and installation to detect problems in
drink quality due to pressure drop, component failure, and system
variance do to regulator, accumulator, booster, thermocouple or
measurement devices
. Hazardous waste/material handling and disposal in accordance with
New York State guidelines
> Procter and Gamble - Duracell; Bethel, CT
January 2013
- March 2013
Research and Development Engineer (Contract)
. Aid in the development and innovation of Zinc Air cell technology
including packaging, EZ Tab, capacity retention, and performance
by analyzing voltage readings over life cycle testing and shell
casing rupture over time.
. Compile and analyze past and current data from the past 30 years
to draw conclusion and create informed hypotheses for future trial
testing and technological improvements/innovations
. Aid in safety analysis of Zinc Air and Silver Oxide batteries
using simulations to replicate and prevent tissue damage using
different materials to minimize the flowing current during
accidental ingestion
> Binghamton University Intramural Sports Association; Binghamton NY
August 2009 - May 2012
Supervisor
. First Aid/CPR certified, personnel assignments and training;
manage up to 16 employees using correct university and intramural
sports guidelines and safety procedures
. Mediate issues between employees and teams, reference for
misunderstood rules, regulations and policies
> Dannon Company; White Plains, NY
Summer 2011
Packaging Engineer (Summer Internship)
. Improved strength and cost of corrugated packaging with new design
to accommodate for the updated cup design.
. Conducted a theoretical pallet compression analysis to determine
the cause of pallet failure during transportation, discovered the
failure limit of the corrugated box and plastic cup on the bottom
level of pallet exceeded the amount placed on top of box in a
static environment, coupled with dynamic transportation the force
would exceed the limit
. Created a reference guide organizing all packaging specifications
(corrugated and plastic) for three distribution plants to ensure
accurate communication between the national plants to limit
confusion between the manufacturing plants
. Installed and tested all processing equipment in new lab including
INSTRON, high powered microscopes, and pressure chambers. Provided
training to employees on equipment listed
