Seeking a position as a licensed clinical laboratory technologist in a clinical lab, where I can use my experience and education.

Education

A) American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP)-generalist, holder of Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS) in California (2012).

B) Zagazig University, Egypt. B.S. degree in medical Science (1986).

Computer Skills:

Familiar with Microsoft Office, and Internet research.

Language Skills:

Familiar with French and Italian.

Experience:

A) El Raiey Clinical Lab. Cairo, Egypt.( 01/2010 to 02/2012).

Clincal Pathologist. Worked as a clinical technologist in the chemistry department analyzing chemistry panel, (renal, hepatic and cardiac enzymes, lipid profile, glucose, electrolytes, etc.), microbiology and coagulation.

B) U.S. Department of State, NAMRU-3 (Jan. 2009- Feb. 2010)

Researcher in Microbiology, "The global disease detection research program", Performed duties such as;

* Media Preparation.

* Environmental Monitoring.

* Proficient in Reading and Revising Standard Operation Procedures.

* Working with the Sari program in their medical microbiological research.

* Casting samples on gel to be examined and for taking a picture.

C) Medical Clinical pathologist in Pediatric Hospital in Luxor, Egypt ( 1989-2012)

Duties such as:

* Managing and treating sick newborns, infants and children.

* Recording patient's vital signs and ordering tests from labs.

* Entering data on computer.

* Analyzing patient charts and medical doses .

* Proficient in reading and interpreting lab. results for various tests.
