seminar title: Diesel injector coking

My seminar deals with the experimental study of diesel fuel injector and

their influence of injected flow rate. Basically injector coking means

solid deposits are stick on the metallic surface of nozzle tip of fuel

injector. This has resulted in a reduced spray diffusion in the cylinder

and thus in a worse air fuel mixing. The tests performed with the Bosch

ageing cycle showed that a significant engine power reduction only occurred

at full load (up to 6%) and a sensible soot specific emission increase.

Project Title: hybrid shaft cycle

This project deals with modification of bicycle that uses a drive shaft

instead of a chain to transmit power from the pedals to wheel. And also

hybridizing the cycle electrically using a battery charged hub motor in the

front wheel. Using shaft drives by using bevel gears less power is needed.

Our aim is due to increased fuel prizes and decreasing fossil fuels we have

to use electric bikes globally.
