. Hardware owner of the GE90 High Pressure Turbine Stage 1 Disk,

Forward Seal, and Aftseal.

. Team Leader- Established field distortion limits on High

Pressure Turbine Disk and seal hardware by looking at the effect

of distortion using DFSS tools (DoE, Monte Carlo).

. Substantiated field repairs for GE90 turbine hardware.

. Conducted mathematical and solid model analyses of tubes and

brackets to resolve military aircraft field issues.

. Redesign brackets and tube routing per airframe customer and

engine assembly request.

. Laison Engineer for engine assembly of the CF6-80C2 120kva

engine for the 767-700ER airframe for a FAA certification test.

. Documented the GEAE PSD field representation operations manual

(standard work practice).

. Team Leader - Used DFSS tools to reduce the DPUs of a GE90 Low

Pressure Turbine Panel by 60% (at supplier location). Led a

cross-functional team.

. Team Leader - Used DFSS tools to eliminate the combustor drain

line from CF6 engines; a savings of $100,000 per engine. Lead a

cross-functional team.

. Team Leader - Decreased Abrasive Flow Operation DPUs by 65%

using problem solving and project management skills. Led a cross-

functional team.

. Supervised inducer manufacturing processes. Disposition parts

for rework and repair.

. Managed CF6-80C2 mock-up activities for the 767-700ER airframe.

Activities included: complete engine audits, procurement of

redesigned parts, and installation of parts on engine.

. Performed CFM56-7 and CF6-80C2 engine maintenance on the Boeing

flightline.

. Performed probabilistic fracture mechanics studies on the high

pressure turbine disks to correlate crack initiation and growth

to turbine rotor life expectancy.

. Presented weekly root cause analysis and corrective action plans

to cost team leaders.

. Reduced the casting and machining cost of a high pressure

turbine stage 2 nozzle by $1000.

. Performed material characterization of the thermal barrier

coating by SEM, TEM, Fractography and X-ray Diffraction methods

to understand its adhesion to turbine blades at operating

temperature.

. Design support of laser grooving of GE90 high pressure turbine

blades.
