. Recognized for accomplishment of superior plant ranking. Facility was
ranked 3rd of 21 IAC facilities in 2008 for meeting all operational and
financial goals set forth by the corporation.
. Implemented Kaizen programs (involving both exempt and non-exempt
employees) which reduced scrap by .36%, direct labor costs by 4.08% and
indirect labor costs by .63%. OEE of 79.30 to 85 resulted in 5.7
efficiency increase.
. Instrumental in establishing and maintaining excellent compliance of
TS16949 requirements and led the IAC India facility in achieving
certification in 2011.
. Created, implemented and monitored reporting metrics specific to cost
saving initiatives.
. Supervised the creation and validation of monthly financial forecast
model and collaborated with Controller and staff to assure attainment of
monthly forecast and successful resolution of any areas that were in the
red.
. Worked with all departments to achieve cost saving goal for 2008 of $4.1
million and exceeded annual goal by $246,000.
. Attained these key results: Internal scrap rates held to 10% of monthly
sales, external PPM to less than 13 and maintenance of OEE at a range of
94-98%.
