Structure Design Engineer

. Current Job involves the analysis & design using STAAD V8i & drafting
using Auto CAD of various steel structures e.g. Gantries, Trestles,
Junction Towers, Crusher House, Sheds for various structures for Material
Handling Plants like Coal, Cement, Lignite, Fertilizer etc. and various
Thermal Power Projects.
. Incorporation of all the comments given by the client in the next revised
drawing/design document for the particular structure and taking of the
drawing approval from the client.
. Preparation of foundation load data drawings for trestles, sheds &
junction towers for civil design and for bolt calculation.
. Checking of civil design and drawings submitted by the civil design
consultant for all civil structures of Thermal Power Plant like
underground tunnel, civil foundation of different structures like

. Depending on the approved design work of different structures, submission
of tentative steel quantity to the planning and purchase department head

with the respective fabrication drawings etc.

engineer sketches and vendor information, and layouts.
. Working involves preparing detailed Civil, structural steel and
foundation plans, elevations and sections drawings for various steel
structures of Thermal power stations. This has developed logic of
making any type of drawings on CAD software. Switching to any Software
shall not be a big problem.
. Preparing bill of materials for different steel structures like conveyor
gantries, supporting trestles, junction towers and sheds etc.
. Easily explain to construction site people to any drawing related issues.
