To apply my marketing and operations experience to the success of a

dynamic organization that recognizes employees' strengths and empowers

EXPERIENCE:

Marketing and Operations Executive, May 2003 - September 2012

North Florida Retirement Village "The Village"

The Village is one of the largest full-service retirement communities

in Florida, operated by SantaFe Senior Living, and owned by SantaFe

HealthCare. The Village grew rapidly during my time with the company

and my responsibilities increased accordingly.

As a Senior Marketing Executive, I met with potential residents,

presented community advantages and cultivated relationships. Our

marketing team continually exceeded sales goals, driving rapid

community expansion. I also worked with the company's advertising

agency on multi-media marketing initiatives.

Later, I accepted the position of Manager of Resident Life, allowing

for direct influence in operational decisions and overall community

management. The role allowed for greater understanding and deeper

involvement in all aspects of the organization, along with direct

management of other employees across several departments. The mission

of the department of Resident Life is to focus on all aspects of

resident satisfaction.

Other accomplishments and duties included:

. Provided budget oversight and cost-effective analysis of multi-media

marketing initiatives, including: print, television, direct mail and

philanthropic sponsorships

. Developed the Resident Orientation Program and Resident Resource

Guide

. Collaborated with the Health Service Director to implement and

market "The Village Vitality Program", a comprehensive health

evaluation and treatment initiative connecting local health care

providers with The Village residents.

. Provided consultation on development plans, resulting in the

nation's largest one-time expansion of a rental retirement community

. Worked directly with contracted advertising agencies to develop

marketing incentives to target our demographic, resulting in

sustained and increased occupancy during an economic downturn

. Developed data gathering processes for weekly, monthly and annual

reports for presentation to shareholders and bond investors

. Involved in post-construction inspection and troubleshooting of

multi-million dollar expansion

. Served as on-camera spokesperson for the employee orientation video

. Represented the organization with various civic and philanthropic

clubs throughout the Gainesville community.

Account Executive, 2001-2003

Group 5 Advertising - Gainesville, Florida

I managed multi-media advertising agency services for clients including

The Village, Regional Transit System, Florida Department of Health and

others. I was involved in presenting, budgeting and developing all

aspects of successful marketing campaigns to reach client goals. I

negotiated, purchased and tracked over 1.5 million dollars of media per

year.

Other duties at this position included:

. Worked directly with representatives from various media outlets,

throughout Florida, including print, network and cable television,

electronic media, outdoor/billboard, promotional products, and more

. Developed public relations campaign and earned media, including

press releases, announcements, news interviews and other

spokesperson opportunities

. Provided creative direction for collateral material, including

brochures, campaign posters, corporate identity packages, and more

. Managed all aspects of the life-cycle of marketing campaigns,

including conception, development, execution and evaluation;

utilizing: television and radio commercials, print media, online

media, onsite promotional events and more

. Worked very closely with The Florida Department of Health on

creating initiatives for multi-cultural healthcare recruitment

throughout the state, including communicating to, and attending

events held in, Hispanic and Haitian communities

. Often provided post campaign analysis to clients, including audits

of purchased and earned media

Account Executive, 2000-2001

Entercom Radio (WKTK & WSKY) - Gainesville, Florida

As an Account Executive for the two largest radio stations in the area, I

sold advertising packages and worked with clients to accomplish their

media goals. This opportunity provided me deeper understanding of how

media analysis leads to effective advertising.

Other duties at this position included:

. Worked with local and regional businesses to help them maximize

their advertising budgets using radio

. Worked with the promotions and contest department to maintain and

increase exposure of the radio stations to the listening public,

especially during rating survey periods

. Handled sponsorships of philanthropic events, often including on-air

talent appearances

Account Executive, 1999-2000

TMP worldwide - Cleveland, Ohio

I created, presented and maintained directional media plans for national

companies including Pearle Vision, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, La-Z-Boy

Furniture, FirstMerit Bank and others. I had direct communication with

the marketing managers of those companies, developing plans to reach

their marketing goals. I tracked regional and national advertising

budgets totaling over 3.5 million dollars per year.

Other duties at this position included:

. Worked with respective corporate office representatives and local

franchisees to develop and maintain directional media coverage,

including traditional and on-line telephone directory placement

. Maintained and produced reports (using Microsoft Access), that

included cost and placement breakdown of all directional media

placed nationwide

. Trained and supervised new account executives

. Presented proposed changes in directional media plans directly to

the client, and often to franchisees at regional planning meetings
