Sid Wainer & Son is a $100 Million per year Gourmet and Specialty Food wholesaler. They
wanted to become an online retailer to sell directly to the consumer, yet they had no clear internet
presence
• Developed an overarching Multichannel strategy including direct online sales, co-branded
sales, and a coherent social media plan
• Created new site architecture (site to be launched in 2011), social media plan
• Successfully launched co-branded areas on Amazon, iGourmet, Shopping.com
SEIU Labor Union; Washington, DC

Consulting directly to the President, provided New Media leadership for the largest Labor union in
the US with over 2 million members and a variety of audiences and constituencies
• Led audit/assessment and reorganization of 125 person Communications department
• Proposed a Multichannel, Multiplatform New Media strategy that was approved by the
Executive board and implemented in 2008
• Created the Creative concept, information architecture, and staffing plan for the re-launch of
SEIU.org with an annual budget of over $2 million/year

• Led the creation of a revised new media plan for Pittsburgh ʼs PBS station who control two TV
stations, one FM radio station and Pittsburgh Magazine as well as partnerships with Comcast
and PBS online

Co-Executive Producer and Project Director: Jan. 2002 – Jan. 2006
• Developed overall project plan, raised over $15 million for a multi-channel, multimedia project
to celebrate the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the French and Indian War
• Once funded, acted as Project Director and Co-Executive Producer for a four-hour PBS
