Wrote policy manual, (eng & sp) responsible for insuring diocesan adherence to applicable laws and
regulations governing employment, recruiting, interviewing and hiring of employees, developed
employment contracts and selecting and administering employee benefits . Functioned as consultant
to all department heads, set up department as a service to the departments with a customer service
approach. Set up MIS system for personnel (450) and recruiting efforts. Handle sensitive personnel
issues as well as legal issues for the diocese in conjunction with the diocesan attorney. HR Safe
Environment Program: Established formal policies and system of training and compliance for all
diocesan entities, employees including religious and clergy as well as volunteers for the Diocese in
order to meet the mandates of the USCCB programs for youth and children . Developed training
video for SEP for orientation of all employees. Work closely with Chancellor, who was the Victim
Coordinator for the diocese to provide remedial or new training and counseling as necessary.
