ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Designed and implemented a process for the Incurred cost Claim Payroll Reconciliation,
satisfying the requirements of a new Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). Received a
commendation and established the process as part of the annual cost claim, schedule L.
• Updated payroll labor reconciliation to include the use of pivot tables and VLookup. Trained
peers on the procedure and wrote extensive department desktop procedures.
• Worked with programmers to update GL intercompany downloads, which eliminated the
necessity of a sixty page report. This update simplified the downloading of the corporate payroll
data to the Aerospace GL and changed a four hour process to two hours or less.

• Participate in month-end close, which includes distributing prior month’s labor costs into the
general ledger and balancing against the Corporate Inter-company download.
• Prepare journal entries from source documentation, including summarizing and evaluating
reliability of source data, and verifying account coding.

• Maintain the integrity of the payroll system postings to the general ledger.
• Reconcile monthly earnings and coordinate corrections to distribution to ensure compliance
with labor laws and company policy.

accounting transactions.
