Professional Experience

Roadway Engineer Parsons (4/2010 to present)

Responsibilities for developing roadway plans, which include all technical aspects for developing plans for MDOT

related projects

Design experience includes developing and verifying drainage concepts for the Maintaining Traffic stage of the Design

Build I-94 project east of Jackson, MI. Also provided expertise for a number of roadway design areas such as calculating

horizontal and vertical sight distance, guardrail design, pavement marking design, along with general CAD support.

Project Engineer RS Engineering, LLC (10/2006 to 2/2010)

Responsibilities include all technical aspects for developing plans for MDOT related projects

Design experience includes utility coordination, drainage design, geometric design and general CAD support for the I-

96/Latson Rd new interchange project

Traffic related experience includes signing (SignCAD), pavement markings, maintaining traffic, geometric alternatives

and operational studies on a multitude of projects

Facilities Engineer State of Michigan, Dept. of Community Health (5/2001 to 10/2008)

Responsible for the on-site field evaluations of licensed health care facilities in the State of Michigan and those certified

by CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) to insure a safe, sanitary and functional physical environment

Responsibilities include all technical aspects for developing plans for MDOT related projects

Lead design engineer for the reconfiguration of the intersection of M47 and M58 in Saginaw Townshi p including all

aspects of project implementation

Lead design engineer for the resurfacing of M -46 from west city limits to M-13 in Saginaw, MI. Responsibilities include

the drafting of the plans, along with the construction staging and project estimate

Site development associated with the S-Curve renovation project in Grand Rapids, Ml. Aided in the CAD work including

the development of the profile plans for the S-Curve.

Inspection/Skilled Trades General Motors Corporation (9/78 to 5/97)

Production/Inspection - Assembled engines, tested diesel engines, inspected cyclinder blocks (1978 -1980) and final

tested Oldsmobile 88s and Cutlass Supremes (1982 -1983).

quality for powertrain parts.

Journeyman Experimental Sheet Metal (1990-1997) - Produced sheet metal parts for proto-type cars by hand from
