SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
25+ years of experience in a professional aircraft mechanical engineering work environment.
Quality Assurance Auditor. Researched aviation components to substantiate their existence to applicable
aircraft. Research included FAA-PMA,TSO, AD, SB, SL and other FAA Regulatory Compliance directives,
Boeing AIPC AMM, CMM and other tools used to justify components.
Designed aircraft galleys, cabinets, lavatories, bulkheads, headliner, monitor shrouds, primary structures and
other secondary components.
Designed modifications to aircraft passenger cabin mechanical systems including environmental control
systems (ECS), water and waste, oxygen (gaseous and chemical), and smoke detection systems.
Liaison and quality control/assurance engineering.
Designed aircraft installations for avionics and cabin systems equipment including satellite communications
systems, telephone systems, in-flight entertainment / cabin management systems (IFE/CMS), camera
systems, security systems, and other systems.
Aircraft primary and secondary structural modifications to support modification and installation of components.
Ensured that the drawings/blueprints prepared by draftsperson's and other designers are accurate and free
from errors. Ensure that the engineering bill of materials for each drawing is complete and accurate.
Coordinate with sub-contract service providers and vendors that perform mechanical and electrical engineering
work for projects. Communicate requirements and coordinate interfaces as required based upon the work
scope.
Conformed to engineering drawing release schedules and budgets to the best of your ability, and provide
accurate and timely progress updates to the individuals responsible for each project.
