Report to the Treasurer of a $1.2B Specialty Insurance Company. Responsibilities include: business unit and
corporate finance support, monthly forecasts, expense close, allocations & analysis, and manage/coordinate the
annual underwriting plan.
• Manage and direct the preparation and presentation of the annual underwriting plan, liaising with underwriting unit
financial managers and functional department managers.
• Responsible for monthly expense analysis presented to Senior Management along with preparation and
commentary on monthly reforecast of underwriting results.
• Business Controller for all legacy business units as well as provide direct financial support for all corporate
departments. At various times have also been Controller for the Technology and Government Risks business units.
• Oversee monthly processes for allocating corporate expenses to underwriting unit, location and product line of
business.
• Led design team for integrated, web based, multi-year forecast tool rolled out to all business unit financial

• Conducted monthly calls with Regional Finance Managers to discuss YTD performance and the impact on
future financial results. Summarized and communicated top line issues to Senior Management within three
days of month end close.

Reported to the CFO of a $100M manufacturing and service company. Responsibilities included: financial planning,
acquisition due diligence and analysis, acquisition financing, and project management.
• Worked with senior business managers to develop long-range financial forecasts taking profitability, liquidity,
capital expenditures and debt compliance into consideration.
