Held full accountability for a multi-million dollar contract carrier
company. US-1 Tranzit, Inc. had authority to operate in all 48 states and
Canada. Responsible for all operation, that included billing, customer
service, fleet maintenance, pricing, scheduling, safety, facility
management and administration. Maintained a 100% Department of
Transportation, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration
compliance facility. Implemented driver safety training and driver ride-a-
longs for a 99% accidental free work force. Managed time sensitive freight
for customers such as General Motors, American Axel, Behr America,
Freightliner, Toyo and Churchill. Established a driver incentive program
that resulted in a 98% on time delivery rate.

Held responsibilities for all day to day operations for a retail hardware
store. I initiated short-term as well as long-term marketing goals.
Initiated demo-graphic studies to improve store sales and to also help with
direct marketing promotions. Marketing strategies increased sales 200%
yearly. Improved on new customer and contractor sales by 25%. I installed
a POS system to assist in keeping an accurate inventory count and to help
with a new automated ordering system. Reduced inventory level yet improved
sales by focusing on lean retail. Facility was recognized as most improved
store out of 4500 stores. Maintained a good rapport with staff and created

Product Design Engineer
Design multiple components for 2001 model year Explorer, Ranger, and
Expedition. Conducted research using mathematical modeling to determine if
new developments and innovations would be cost effective and productive.
Tested new design concepts on prototypes. I also wrote analytical reports
such as Failure Mode Effect and Analysis and Design Verification Plan and
Report. Increased company profits by $0.25 per units manufactured. This
was done by initiating a re-design on the tilt-telescope lever system. I
traveled 25% of the time in three states to ensure quality parts. Was also
lead engineer in a major re-designing of the company's rack and pinion
steering castings which resulted in a 40% cost savings.

Supervised sixty-five technicians whom had the responsibility to prepare
raw metal bodies for paint. Technicians prevented wind noise, water leaks,
and paint chipping. These procedures maximized productivity and

maintenance and repair schedule for a 4.5 million dollar robotic system
which reduced down time, in turn improved company production by 10%.
