Engineer manager responsible for (4) Program Managers and a total of (21) engineers as direct

subordinate. Launch of a Greenfield facility for Cosma International in Mexico with SOP in August 2012

Interact with the General Motors (GM) in Detroit, in particular the GM Product Engineering team to support in

the design of the new model GM (K2XX) Pick-up trucks for the Door Structures. Worked with GM engineering

& studio with the manufacturing feasibility, packaging & CAE analysis of the door structures.

Main plant customer launches includes the Nissan Sentra (L12F) launch in Aguas Calientes,MX, General

Motors in San Luis Potosi for the Global Gamma platform and Silao for the (K2XX) pick-up truck. Plant has

over $USD140million in booked customer business

Support in the quotation of new business, supporting in the quotation for new business with Mazda, VW and

GM including new Hot Stamping projects

commodities. Responsible for component level durability testing, CAD release into SGM system

Product engineering with main responsibility for the closures systems for the Lincoln Town Car, LS and

Continental at Wixom Assembly Plant

Participated in change control, plant variation reduction team & ensuring that all engineering changes to the

closure systems does not impact the product performance from crash, structural integrity such as closing

efforts, wind noise to NVH, Squeak & Rattle and Corrosion

Responsible for meeting part of Body Sheet- metal cost reduction targets as part of the MCR team

Responsible for selecting proto-type steel, coordinate special build vehicle & writing

Lincoln Aviator Product Engineering

Saint Louis Assembly Plant, MO (06/2001-02/2003)

Responsible for product development of the Lincoln Aviator Lift gate system including lift gate

sheet metal, dynamic sealing and glass assembly

Responsible from the studio phase (clay) to creating master sections, CAE analysis to determine the rigidity of

the lift gate structure & packaging studies to ensure best practice proper clearances is maintain

Create the DFMEA for the Lift gate system

Product engineer responsible for product sign off at every build event, ensuring that the proto-type vehicles are

build to the correct engineering level & contains the correct late engineering changes. Responsible to sign off

the vehicle prior to corrosion, durability & other vehicle level testing

Ensure that the product design & vehicle passes Engineering Sign Off (ESO) milestone on time by achieving

crash test (FMVSS) approval, no functional failure in durability and corrosion performance

Part of the GD&T team to formulate a locator strategy with suppliers that will meet Ford

standard and deliver a product that can be assembled to meet Ford fit & finish standards

Work with the Ford CAD team to ensure that engineering changes are captured into the Ford

CAD system

Establish strong understanding of the assembly plant process and designing part under the

constraint of assembly processes and ergonomics

Work with supplier to deliver a quality finish product & understand impact of late engineering

changes on program timing and supplier timing. Make visits to supplier plants to understand

various processes

Part of the 2002 Dodge Ram Body-in-White design team. Worked on the removal of door

reinforcements, laser welded blanks & overall door design to ensure structural stability of the

door & on cost saving engineering solutions

Introduced Laser Welded Hemming technology with the Manufacturing Engineering group to

Daimler Chrysler as a replacement for conventional door hemming process as a cost savings

opportunity. Responsible for setting up testing matrix to evaluate the doors
