Handled all financial operations during a workout situation stabilizing banking relations, restructuring

daily financial operations, working with management and the Board to ultimately realize a successful

merger with another not-for-profit agency providing financial strength.

Responsible for all government grant budgeting and financial compliance, cash management & banking

relationships, managing all transactional accounting, preparation of financial statements and board of

directors financial reporting.

Immediately upon arrival, reorganized organization’s finances to avert cash crisis.

Negotiated with primary bank lenders to restructure debt repayment terms providing improved cash

flow.

Refinanced property to draw available cash to help meet working capital needs.

forecast, produced monthly and annual financial statements. Prepared profitability reports and pricing

schedules for negotiated client contracts. Managed cash, receivables, 401(k) plan, payroll and b anking

personnel.

Directed all financial activities subsidiaries, including the network media buying for the 1996 presidential

campaign of H. Ross Perot. Successfully merged the finances of Media Partnership with Western Intl.

Media upon their acquisition, and all three subsidiaries with the Inter Public Group on a latter acquisition.

Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer 1975 - 1996

MCA was an advertising/consulting firm with advertising agency revenues of $30M and 100+ employees.

Clients served include Cadbury (Motts); Dunkin Donuts; Federal Express; Lorillard; Saab USA and

Tambrands, Inc.

Rose from staff accountant to CFO of this merged advertising agency from its initial acquisition to the

purchase of Ally & Gargano, Inc. and ultimate sale to Wesray Capital. Directed all financial operations,

including financing issues, controllership, client/agency budgets and executive committee reporting.
