Experience: Southern Hills Counseling Center-Jasper, IN. 2011-present

time-Technical Billing Specialist, obtaining authorizations for five area

counties for Medicaid. Follow up with insurance companies, answering client

calls, and obtaining the correct authorizations for the client's services

both commercial insurance and Indiana Medicaid.

Medical Billing experience-Memorial Hospital in Jasper,

IN. 1998-2004, switchboard, patient accounting experience, customer service-

phone/person. Follow up billing experience with third party payers, very

successful follow up procedures. Excellent phone manners both to customers

and insurance companies.

Perry County Memorial Hospital, Tell City, IN 1993-

1998, switchboard, admitting, cashier, billing insurance both primary and

secondary, shift leader/training new employees.

Recently graduated in February from Grand Canyon University, Bachelor's

Degree in Applied Management. Covering all aspects of management and

sociology/psychology, etc. Wide variety of classes in the accelerated

program-8 week for each class. 122 credit hours completed. 3.5 GPA.

Currently, working on a Masters Degree in Public Administration for Health

Care. GPA is 4.0.
