COURSE WORK: Embedded Systems, RF CMOS VLSI, Nanotechnologies, Low power
VLSI, Digital Signal Processing, Speech Signal Processing, Modern Wireless
Communication Systems (3G, 4G, GPS, Bluetooth etc.), Analog VLSI, VLSI
Testing, Power Electronics, Computer Networks & Architecture, VHDL,
Microprocessors, Control Systems.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
. MASTER THESIS: Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) based Arithmetic
and Logical Function Generator - A paradigm for Nano Computing. QCA
technology belongs to nano-electronics and is a potential successor
for CMOS transistor technology.
. FINAL YEAR GRADUATION PROJECT: Development of an Embedded Security
System for ATM using GSM. My work involved interfacing a GSM mobile
handset and an ATM card, using an ARM microcontroller to ensure secure
transactions.
. Database for Background Noise using Acoustic Parameters. This project
was targeted towards improving the performance of hearing aids. MATLAB
software is used to write the code and rain, restaurant, car samples
as background noise.
. Design 0.18 m technology MOSFET Low Noise Amplifier circuit. The main
objective is to design LNA by using only 0.18 m CMOS transistor
technology and prove the reliability of the design with best gain,
noise figure, s-parameters results. Used Agilent ADS software for
designing this RF CMOS VLSI project involving design of matching
circuits as well.
. Design and analyze both basic and advance two-stage Op-Amp circuit.
The main objective is to improve basic two-stage Op-Amp circuit by
reaching certain specifications. Mentor Graphics tools are used for
designing and analyzing the circuit.
. Design, Simulation and Analyze the Power Consumption for CMOS and
Domino Full Adder Circuit. This project employed PSPICE Simulations
tool with emphasis on ensuring low power.
. Conducted a project on Emotion recognition using MATLAB to understand
how various factors such as energy, formants etc effect emotion
recognition.
