Responsibilities include: Serving as interpreter for Teacher/Parent conferences when Hispanic parents are involved, interpreting at all school functions in which parents participate, translating all written material that goes home from English into Spanish, translating written notes from Spanish speaking parents into English, translating and proofreading manuals, discovering parent needs, serving as a liaison between parents and school faculty, and organizing informative events for parents in the community.
