SKILLS
•Good communication skills: As a Pharmacist I respond professionally to patients' questions, receive instructions
from doctors and then, in turn, explain the instructions for medications with patients. Communicates well with
customers and other pharmacists about prescription orders and directions for medication.
•Ability to work with others: Well able to work with pharmacy technicians, other pharmacists, managers and
store clerks. Able to effectively work with physicians, either over the phone or in person, in coordinating medica-
tions for patients. A good team player.
•Reading and writing skills: Experienced in reading prescription orders. Also have good writing skills like re-
minder notes to self or coworkers, thereby accomplishing the work before the end of the day.
•Problem Solving and Decision making: Able to decipher occasionally difficult to read handwriting on prescrip-
tions, then contact the doctor’s office to verify the order, or when a prescription seems unclear, whether to fill the
order as I believe its written or call and verify the order with the doctor. Experienced in dealing with drug abusers
submitting forged prescriptions and verifying with Doctors. Aptly make judgments when drugs aren’t available
from the supplier or is only available in a limited amount.
•Computer skills: Well experienced in computer softwares including word processing programs like MS Word,
