Responsible for steaming lines and pumping different waxes from storage tanks to production tanks through filters to a
head that produced small wax pellets that ran down a water chilled 80 foot stainless steel belt. The material had to remain
at a constant temperature to remain in the tolerances allowed. Changed micron filters regularly to keep material clean and
to keep production from slowing. Set speed of belt, head speed RPM and kept a constant pressure for production. As the
wax cooled it was moved by conveyor to a hopper where it was bagged, stacked on pallets and wrapped for shipping.
Kept up with hourly production logs which included wax temperature, pressure to head, head speed, belt speed and bags
per hour along with how many bags per order. Samples were taken hourly to the lab for tolerance changes. If material
became discolored out of tolerance the batch numbers were changed. At the end of each run the tanks were steamed out,
lines and pumps were steamed out to keep from plugging lines. Ran a forklift to move pallets from production area to
warehouse to be shipped to customer.
