Power Plant Shift Supervisor
Supervised twelve personnel on performing organizational maintenance, which consists
of repairs, servicing, troubleshoot, and adjusting of eight Rolls Royce T56-A-427 engines
and related systems in support of four E-2C Hawkeye aircraft.
Inspected over 500 maintenance actions to include expeditious replacement of two quick
engine connections (QEC).
Replaced five NP2000 propeller assemblies with two Electronic Valve Housings and one
pump housing. Directly contributing to a 98% sortie completion rate in support of three
multinational exercises.
Expertly supervised the completion of four 200/400-hour inspections and two 800-hour
engine inspections. Contributing to the command’s 1200 mishap free flight hours.
An enthusiastic mentor, as a Division Career Counselor, conducted eight career
development boards, leading to the advancement of three personnel. Enhancing morale
by encouraging personnel to meet or exceed their needs and expectations contributing to
Command receipt of the 2009 COMPACFLT retention Excellence award.
Performed inspections on propeller assembly NP2000, engine compressor section, and
fuel cells.

Prepared aircraft for fuel cell maintenance, to include defueling, de-puddling, purging to

C-2A Greyhound aircrafts.
Removed and installed four T56-A-425 engines, nine propeller assemblies, and six
propeller controls.
Performed ten 400- hour and six 1200-hour inspections.
Facilitated the removal and installation of two Hamilton Sundstrand 54660-1 four blade
propeller.
Performed operations tests propeller 54660-1, using testing equipment such as
Automated Track and Balance Set (ATABS) to evaluate balance, quality, and
performance.
Performed final engine functional test for Functional check flight (FCF).
Trained and qualified five C-2A troubleshooter/final checkers and three collateral duty
inspectors (CDI’s).

Discovered quality deficiencies on three T700 Gas Generator Assemblies, preventing
installation of defective modules, saving the Navy $250,000 dollars.
Disassembled and assembled of ten cold sections, and seven power turbine modules.
