(Oil/Water Laboratory) I was responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance

of the boiler water continuous treatment system and boiler water/feed water monitor and

sampling equipment for (2) 600 psi main propulsion boilers. Conducted numerous fuel

oil and lube oil analysis. Was in charge and supervised many individuals on my watch

team underway as the Oil/Water King of the Watch. I was responsible for keeping the

Chief Engineer informed about the plant status and water chemistry. I was responsible for

organizing and maintaining the fuel and lube oil quality management program for the

Engineering Department. I conducted and supervised numerous fueling/ de-fueling

evolutions. I was sent to school in Yokosuka, Japan for Boiler Water/Feed water Chelant

Basic laboratory training and book work, successfully completed with a 94%. (Boiler

Room) I was a mechanic that performed preventive and corrective maintenance on two

propulsion boilers and related auxiliary equipment. I also fiberfraxed both boilers (3X).

Did many tube plugging and subsequent hydrostatic tests. I was also selected Engineering

Blue Jacket of the Quarter.

service to contractors and do-it-yourselfers by loading customers, building loads and
