As a Quality Control Engineer have been involved in intensive discussion
of codes & standards, on a daily basis by preparing detailed reports,
welding database etc. My activities also include inspection of activities
performed by contractor at site as well as at their workshop.

As a Engineer, was responsible for the preparation of ITP, WPS, PQR.
Executing inispection test procedure (DPT, UT, RT, blasting & Painting) at
site & handle TPI. Reported weekly and monthly progress to the Quality
Assurance Head. As part of the Site project team, represented QCP/QAP at
all Site meetings with Client & Consultant.

> Inspection / Monitoring Fabrication/Erection work quality in terms of
specification, workmanship and other variables as per requirements of QC
standard operating procedure and client's specification.
> Review of Material Test Certificates, Consumable Test Certificates.
> Controlling / Checking Electrode Storing, Baking, Handling, Issue and
proper use on Daily Basis.
> Daily Checking Welders I.D., WPS copy, Portable Oven, Heating Torch,
Thermo chalk.
> Inspection / Monitoring of Fit-up as per Approved GA Drawing /
Construction Drawing & WPS for Correctness of materials, dimensional
accuracy and joint design (root gap, root face, bevel angle, fillet,
lapping joint), cleaning of weld zone, proper support & arrangement for
distortion control etc.
> Closely Monitor the Welding Process (SMAW / GMAW).
