Content Critical is a solutions-based company focusing on hosted eCommerce,

web-to-media development for financial institutions, retailers and

political campaigns. Its roots are in transactional printing, but it has

expanded its back end services to include web development, system

integration, digital printing, offset printing, large format, mailing and

fulfillment. In the role of SVP Sales and Marketing, I was responsible for

developing sales initiatives around the various vertical markets to be

served by the company's horizontal offerings.

. Successfully developed and rolled out initiatives based around

vertical markets for a sales team of fourteen.

. Recruited project managers to oversee mixed media projects.

Texscan NT LLC - Roswell, GA October 2008 - May 2009

Senior Vice President and General Manager

Texscan NT was an incubator company under the auspices of Bright Sky

Holdings. It was formed in May of 2008 and is chartered with developing

enabling technology in the field of Advanced Advertising for Cable and

IPTV. This position reported directly to the CEO of the holding company

with direct P&L responsibility and overall management of the company. In

the spirit of entrepreneurship, this position was also on the senior

management team of the holding company with direct reporting to the Board

of Directors and participation in fund raising activities. The company

closed in June 2009.

. Achieved over budget for revenues and under budget for expenses in the

first year.

. Successfully participated in a live pilot project for Advanced

Advertising with a major MSO

. Successfully penetrated major network, IPTV and Cable companies with

new technology.

. Successfully participated in several fund raising presentations for

Texscan NT, Bright Sky Holdings and other developing companies under

Bright Sky Holdings.

Vio Inc - Cranbury, NJ Mar 2003 - May 2008

Executive Vice President

Vio Inc is a subsidiary of Vio Worldwide, a $12 million per year, 60 person

graphic arts SaaS supply chain software and managed services company.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the original purpose of the hire was to

raise Vio's profile in the US. This position has expanded to strategic

business development, sales management, direct sales and product

development activities.

. Raised the profile of Vio in the publishing, prepress and ad agency

markets in the US.

. Sold into key national accounts - most notably Time Inc., Meredith,

New York Times, UBM, Macys, Dillard's and Draft FCB.

. Managed national, virtual sales team of six people.

. Successfully designed and launched the world's first digital soft

proofing ad delivery service that lead to over $1.2 million per year

in recurring revenue.

. Member of M&A team - most notably the December 2006 acquisition of the

rights to AdSEND from AP.

Quality House of Graphics - Long Island City, NY Sept 2001 - Mar 2003

Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer

Recruited by $20 million advertising agency prepress and commercial print

shop, one of New York's top five, to direct 200 personnel in overall

company operations. The position reported to the President and was

responsible for coordinating efforts of sales and technology, prioritizing

operational issues and customer concerns and developing technology

strategies. Duties included negotiating with vendors and candidates of

mergers and acquisitions.

The company closed in March 2003.

. Designed corporate marketing plan, including development and

repackaging of products.

. Developed Industry Best Practices Seminar series to educate and

attract major NY ad agencies, funded through the sponsorship of

technology partners such as Adobe and Fuji.

. Dramatically increased company productivity by employing state-of-the-

art technology.

. Designed new production and tracking system, including vendor

negotiations that obtained $800,000 of equipment at a cash-neutral

position for the company.

Selected to turn around $4 million, 90-person publication prepress firm for

absentee owner. Responsible for P&L and all operations including strategic

planning, sales, marketing, technology, and negotiations.

. Evaluated and analyzed sales force and client perspectives on firm's

strengths and weaknesses, packaging resulting vision as a new

marketing platform.

. Directly managed the sales force to more than double revenue to over

$9 million in three years in a market where competitive pressure had

cut prices in half.

. Designed and implemented two production systems and a job ticketing

and tracking system to streamline production and cut costs.

. Transformed company from analog to digital production, recognized as a

leader in publication community.

Quad/Graphics, Inc. - Pewaukee, WI Sept 1986 - Jan 1995

Recruited to set up the desktop publishing department, Quad/Text, as GM.

Went on to become the Marketing Director for the premedia department,

Quad/Imaging and GM of the three-dimensional printing group,

Quad/Dimensional Imaging.

. Hired on two 45 minute interviews as GM of Quad/Text to set up a new

division of the then-$240 million company from scratch. Sales of $2

million in the first year of operation with a staff of 12.

. Integrated three internal sales groups (60 people) as Director of

Sales and Marketing, Quad/Imaging.

. Put in charge of turn around of 3D (lenticular) printing division as

GM Quad/Dimensional Imaging with sales of $2 million in the first

year.
