Director of Finance
Provide accounting and administrative expertise for international software
company with 100 employees and $13M in annual revenue. Oversee day-to-day
business operations with full authority over outgoing checks and wire
transfers. Preside over domestic and international accounting functions
encompassing monitoring monthly cash flow, compiling quarterly sales and
costs forecasts, generating financial statements, and performing monthly
bank reconciliations for 10 cash accounts.
Report directly to CEO and lead team of 5 including Accountant, Billing
Specialist, Accounting Assistant, and office personnel. Work closely with
fellow department heads and serve on Group Operations Team responsible for
strategic planning and key decision making. Facilitate annual audit with
external accountants and travel to subsidiaries in England and Belgium at
least once per year to meet with auditors, bankers, and staff.
. Spearheaded upgrade to accounting system, merging accounting data from 2
foreign subsidiaries with domestic figures to create consolidated
financial statements, examining numerous accounting programs and
providing recommendations for CEO, and directing implementation of
Microsoft Dynamics GP.
