Louisiana writing, documenting, and analyzing every conceivable Land document for a Hunt Family Petroleum Trust.

Also, worked on projects with R. D. Davis’ Attorneys in four Barnett Shale counties researching numerous abstracts and

surveys; utilized county appraisals, District Courts, County Clerk’s offices, TXRRC, LA SONRIS, and Drillinginfo.com.

Selected Achievements

Land Project Management/Wrote Assignments for a H. L. Hunt Petroleum Trust: Analyzed and documented every

conceivable oil and gas Land document researched within the Hunt property room, including field research in five

States, (TX, LA, AR, AL, and GA) assigning over 150 petroleum properties to eight Assignees within the Hunt Family.

Due Diligence Document Research: recently, worked on a Bakken Shale acquisition team purchasing hundreds of

thousands of leasehold acres for a Major Exploration Client. Also, completed research on a 250,000 acre multi-well

Fayetteville Shale project for a Private Equity Client, analyzing and reporting on thousands of documents.

Acquisition and Development Land Experience: most recently, worked for an Independent Oil and Gas Company as

an In-House Land Company leading the land acquisition of seven drilling areas in two West Texas Counties.

Runsheet Development and Mineral Ownership Reporting: Worked on several runsheet teams developing a

complicated title history back to patent within four Texas Counties located in the Barnett Shale. Developed extensive

ownership reports on several independent projects and completed these projects on time with management approval.

Excellent mapping skills using Deed Plot software; taught many new Landmen how to deed plot and print maps.

Continuing Landman Education: Always will be a high priority attending AAPL and related classes to learn and

develop Industry knowledge of all applicable laws and Landman practices. Attended a class workshop at AAPL

headquarters learning more about WI and NRI calculations. Also, attended an advanced multi-class Oil and Gas Law

Course sponsored by the UH Law Foundation, Fulbright & Jaworski, and Liskow & Lewis.

Business Development: Coordinated and developed a business opportunity from start up in a new location and

small Independents, worked on a ten man Land team acquiring over 300,000 leasehold acres from an Independent

Energy Co. in the Bakken Shale; analyzed, examined and reported on numerous mineral ownership title reports

written by Field Landmen. Also, contracted by a small Independent on a rather large acquisition deal in two West

Texas Counties where we assisted in acquiring numerous O&G Leases from an Independent.
