I have worked in automoble dealerships for over 25 years.First in new and preowned car sales

with the remaining years in the service department.My experience as a

service advisor and service manager began in 1992.Working in service

was both rewarding and very educational.My responsibilities included but

not limited to meeting and greeting customers automotive repair needs

and dispatching their vehicle to a factory certified technician.After those

concerns were addressed,I would call that customer with an estimate for

the repairs and inform them of other repairs or scheduled maintenance

that they may or may not be aware is needed at the time.After the repairs

are completed,call the customer to inform them that their vehicle is ready

for pick up.As service manager,I was responsible for the overall operation

of the service department and warranty administrator.This included

checking for manufacturer bulletins and updates,scheduling technicians

for mandatory factory training,filing warranty claims,meeting manufacturer

service representatives and more.
