1 Month Industrial Training: Place: - GNA (DURAPARTS), Mehtiana in Hoshiarpur (Punjab) from Dec 2007 to Jan 2008
6 Month Industrial Training Place: Leader Valves, Jalandhar (Punjab) December 2012 to June 2013.
Projects Undertaken:
• Robotic-Arm with Camera: (Gold Medal for Project, which comes first in Punjab in Tech-festival-2007, held at Malout)
DESCRIPTION:
In this project of Robotic arm with camera. In this we used three A.C synchronous motors. A.C synchronous motor of 240 volt, 125 m.a and 60 r.p.m. is converted into linear motion with the help of nut and bolt arrangement. Further this linear motion is used to move the robotic arm as well as upward and downwrd motion. Second A.C synchronous motor is used to make a trolley for forward and backward motion of robotic arm and Third A.C synchronous motor is used for right and left direction motion of robotic arm.
• Project on Flange Forging through CAD/CAM software’s:
DESCRIPTION:
In this project Flange Forging model was made using Pro-E and UG. In Pro-E, firstly 3D model was designed from 2D drawing and then its core and cavity is extracted by using multiple parting surfaces. After extracting the core and cavity it is imported in UG where the different manufacturing operation on it was performed. By using dynamic verification the tool path was checked. With the help of post process file, cutter location file was converted into tool location file and then this tool location file is send through DNC program into CNC.
• Practical Project: Project on converting 2D drawing into 3D model.
DESCRIPTION:
In this project made 3D model was made from 2D drawing to measure weight of model. This is used for master pattern making. This drawing was from WALTERSCHIED, GERMANY.
• Practical Project: Solar Vehicle With RF Module:
DESCRIPTION:
In this project of solar vehicle we are using solar energy as a source of energy. In this project we are using capacitor as source of storage of charge rather than the battery. This will effect to reduce the weight of the vehicle and to improve the performance but we are not using the battery so we are using the solar panel to power the motor used in the vehicle and the capacitor bank as a source of temporary storage. We will have a system which will continuously scan the capacitor bank and charging the capacitor bank and charge is discharged into the motor directly. As the charge is stored momentarily the wattage requirement reduces considerably and yielding a better result.
• 6 Months Industrial Training Project:
DESCRIPTION:
In this project of Wedge Gate Valve we have to find Stresses, strains, deflection & deformations the different zones of valve body subjected under static and hydraulic load by using solid works Software for 3d designing and analyzing. Ribs & Fillets were applied on the certain zones of body where the deformation resulted out to be more under simulation of the body. With the addition of the fillets and ribs to the areas subjected to extreme stresses and deformations were strengthened and due to which after these successful modifications the magnitude of stresses and deformation was actually decreased to certain allowable limit.
