I oversaw all aspects of sales, marketing and manufacturing production of screw machine
parts and processes (10 million parts per year) for leading screw machine house.
Sales duties: Direct responsibility for all company inside and outside sales. I grew sales in
excess of 30% while I managed the department. Assisted company in diversifying its product
offerings to attract new industries as well as enhance offerings to existing customers. I
represented company at all customer and industry sales meetings.
P roduction duties: I was responsible for scheduling 60 production machines from inception
of order through final product shipment to customers. Annual production was 10 million
parts per year to 75 customers. Upon my hi ring at Waterbury Swiss, they had major
p roduction backlogs and were losing customers due to their deficient on t ime delivery rates.
T heir OTD to their top t ier customers was 9%. Within 60 days of assuming production
manager duties, our OTD rate increased to 85% and within my 1 st year we were consistently
averaging 88% to our customer base. At the time I left Waterbury Swiss, our OTD rate to our
customers was consistently within the 90-95% range.
Additionally, I coordinated and participated with quality manager in all external customer
audits and ISO audits.
Marketing duties: I was responsible for maintaining all company marketing materials and
working with senior management team on updating new company strategies to reach new
i ndustries. Was successful in working with top t ier customer in their new product
development and product launch resulting in additional business to Waterbury Swiss.

Duties included extensive t ravel to area businesses so that they could utilize state and
federal grants for re-employment of displaced workers. This included both businesses that
were laying off employees and those that were looking to hire new workers. Grants were
designed to re-t rain displaced workers so that they possibly start new careers.

CDBG program allowance at t ime was $2,700,000 per year. Major projects included
getting new demolition specs in place to start removal of area-blighted properties that had
been neglected for years. Prior to my coming on as Director there had not been a property
remediated in over two years. Multiple school maintenance and area park projects were
a lso completed along with the purchase of new firefighting apparatus for multiple fi re
companies.
HOME program allowance at t ime was $1,000,000 per year. Projects included rehab to
over 100 properties over a three-year span to help enhance low-income areas.
P rior to my coming on as Director there had not been a new home project started in
a lmost two years.
