Bechtel May 11 to July 13
Project Controls Engineer, Plant Lead, on the Joseph M. Farley, Southern
Nuclear Energy plant doing level 3 scheduling, resource forecasting and
curves, cost control and invoices for up to 40 engineering projects at a
time. Facilitated daily "Plan of the Day," meetings, weekly schedule
update and upper level resource/cost forecasting meetings.
QBS., Inc April 07 to May 2011
Project Manager on 3 to 8 projects at a time ranging in size from 100K to
12 million. Estimated, negotiated buy-outs, issued contracts, built and
maintained schedules with Primavera P6, worked with field superintendents,
LEED documentation. All projects for QBS are Federal Government projects
for NASA, National Guard, US. Corps of Engineers and Veterans
Administration. Government projects were Design/Build as well as hard bid
projects for Renovations, New Construction, and Civil Work. I acted as
full time Field Project Manager as required.
Colson & Colson September 06 to April 07
Field Superintendent on a 7 million dollar upscale retirement apartment
complex, responsible for sub-coordination, negotiate contracts, scheduling,
safety and safety compliance, daily records, site logistics, RFIs and
progress meetings.
White Hat Management February 05 to April 06
Project Engineer/Project Manager for Charter School Co. All projects were
design/build of existing buildings to be converted to charter schools.
Reviewed prospective building sites, coordinated with architects and
engineers to meet charter school requirements, meet building codes,
supervise design, supervise construction subcontractors to get occupancy
permits with very tight timelines.
Raeder Construction August 2002 to February 05
Project Manager/Estimator, estimated and managed commercial construction
projects ranging from 100K to 5 million. Project load was 3-5 projects at
a time. Used ProEst estimating software and Excel spreadsheets to do take-
off and compute bids. I worked directly with customers, architects and
field personnel to complete projects.
