Started out as a Maintenance Tech and moved my way to team leader before
acquiring the position I am in now. Matcor is a robotic welding and
stamping company making automotive parts primarily for the big three. I
supervise 4 Techs on first shift and 3 on second shift, and 2 employees in
the Machine Building division. I have directly dealt with OSHA inspections,
QS audits, TS audits, ISO audits. I have set up and maintained a new PM
system. I have started an internal training program for the Techs. I also
have set up numerous cost savings programs since taking over this
department.
