I am interested in the Construction Project Manager position. I have worked in the construction industry for
over 26 years. I have 11 years experience running my own General Contracting business, experience in
performing and supervising all trades work, along with over 7 years experience as a building superintendent
with a large general contractor. I have building, site, healthcare, and industrial experience. I feel that my
experience would be a great asset for this position. I have the vision to see the finished project before it even
begins. My creativity, my vision and my ability to think on my feet and solve complex problems, as they arise,

I have experience examining field conditions, estimating costs and schedules for any given project. I will track
time, job numbers, and phase codes to ensure a project comes in below budget. I have experience managing
manpower and work crews as well as subcontractors from all different trades. I always make sure all work is
performed according to the specifications. I have extensive blueprint reading experience from grades to
foundations and erection, tenant fit outs, to mechanical schematics and fabrication. I have experience running
multiple jobs at one time. I have experience ordering and maintaining material. I have excellent communication
skills, written and verbal. I can communicate professionally with customers and I provide excellent customer
service. I do not believe in punch lists and know that a job has to be complete with 100 percent customer
satisfaction before leaving the project. I will bring buildings out of the ground and perform tenant fit outs. I
have had OSHA, MSHA, ICRA and confined space training, as well as rigging and forklift training. I feel that
safety in the workplace is very important.
I have worked on projects as a Tradesman and a Superintendent on projects at Johns Hopkins Bay View
Medical Center, in Baltimore Md. I have worked on projects as a Tradesman and Superintendent on wing
renovations, floor renovations and in operating room renovations, at University of Maryland Medical Center in
Baltimore Md. all in occupied spaces. I have extensive training and knowledge of ICRA procedures. I do not
have a degree, I am willing to pursue one to meet the requirements of Your Company. I do not feel that a degree
will prevent me in performing my duties as a Project Manager in the Construction Industry. I feel my extensive
experience and knowledge in the construction industry and my past performance exceeding any expectations
that are placed upon me, make me the perfect candidate and member Your Construction Management Team.
I have Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Internet experience. I am willing to learn any other company
specific programs that you require. I take extreme pride in my work; I am self motivated, and a self starter. I am
not afraid to jump in where I am needed, I enjoy new challenges, and can change gears in a fast paced
environment. I have an excellent attendance record. I can Estimate all projects including but not limited to
hours, materials, possible delays, and work stoppages and changes, and scopes of work for any type of project.
My working time and professional skills as a tradesman is a great asset in understanding the building process. I
have extensive layout experience and I am capable of using instruments including and not limited to lasers,
transits, total stations and LM80s.
