Description: Bronx-Lebanon Hospital is the largest voluntary, not-for-

Position: System Analyst

Description: Working on Goodyear's core system, Universal Adjustments

System (UAS) which is an OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) for

generating various reports to analyze performance of returned tires. All

Goodyear regions submit data and utilize the UAS's analysis capabilities.

The UAS has one central oracle database. Data from various kinds of sources

are loaded into UAS. Users can request reports for analysis purpose from

UAS and reports are sent in the form of Excel files.

Responsibilities

. Implemented complex logic for new/existing reports types from scratch

using packages, procedures, functions and triggers in the UAS

application

. Developed PL/SQL Cursors to FETCH data from flat files

. Involved in fixing trouble tickets or defects of various pieces of

PL/SQL code as per the requirements of the testing team

. Involved in creating Partitions for various tables as well as

creating/maintaining indexes.

. Wrote PL/SQL scripts for loading data from various sources across regions

. Created Cron jobs for scheduling the execution of the packages.
