Brought in temporarily to manage the day to day sourcing and production for
men's woven products.
. Directed the placement of summer 2011 production, over 500,000 units
and introduced a new factory to help with the larger then expected
orders.
. Directed the Far East office to re-negotiate FOB's to increase the
margins of a program by 1%.
. Guided the Nautica Hong Kong office in the development of Holiday 2011

2004 - 2009
Vice President of Sourcing, Los Angeles, CA (2009)
Re-located by Perry Ellis to California to re-structure sourcing and
production for the ladies brands C&C and Laundry.
. Managed the transition in domestic sourcing from CM to full package
for C&C to lower the companies risk and better understand the actual
cost of the garments.
. Worked closely with the fabric development team and domestic mills to
control the shrinkage and torque of the PFD piece goods for C&C.
Instituted stringent testing requirements.
. Negotiated in conjunction with the fabric development team a savings
of 15% per yard on a core fabric for C&C while at the same time
upgrading to Supima yarns.
. Successfully sourced a lower cost C&C label knit program in Pakistan
to be able to achieve the margins required.
. Worked with established factories in the Laundry division to shorten
their production lead time so we could buy later.
. Introduced a new vendor matrix to Laundry of factories in China and
Vietnam at lower costs to be able to sell special programs to off
price retailers. This added over $1.0 million in volume.

Responsible for sourcing all knit and woven product for the Perry Ellis,
Axis, Tricot, Mondo and 6A collections including dress shirts.
. Total volume $80.0 million at wholesale.
. Restructured operations team to maximize the purchasing of quality
product on a timely basis.
. Directed a staff of 12 which included 3 sourcing directors, 4
purchasing managers and assistants.
. Instituted active participation by sourcing in the development process
to ensure product is achievable within the Perry Ellis framework.
. Increased woven shirt margins by 6% to 10% by negotiating a lower cm
based on offering continuous monthly production with the factory. Used
this strategy in 2 factories in Vietnam and 1 in Indonesia.

. Instituted weekly WIP meetings with design, merchandising and sourcing
to follow the production and development process to ensure on time
