Clerk of the works- Mercer County Board of Education, 1403 Honaker Ave. Princeton, WV 24740.
Currently assigned to the new PikeView Middle School, overseeing the project from initial site work
through completion. Duties include inspection during all phases of construction and adherence to all
plans and specifications. I also act as liaison between the Board, ETB Architects, the prime contractors
and their various subs. I review each monthly contractor pay request for approval prior to the Engineer
signature. Other projects include a NEW Multi-Purpose Building for Straley Elementary School, an
addition to the Princeton Middle School, and a new Performing Arts Center at Bluefield High School.
Oct. 2000-July 2005
Construction Inspector- Summit Eng. Inc., CEI, 1000 Corporate Drive, Suite 101, Hillsborough, NC
27278. Projects include the new construction of I-73/I-74 along US220 from Candor, NC to Ellerbe, NC
and the widening of I-85 through Durham, NC. Duties included the inspection of soils and concrete for
roadway as well as the installation and/or relocation of new and existing utilities and bridges.
September 1998-Oct. 2000
Clerk of the works- Mercer county Board of Education. Projects include construction of a New Multi-
Purpose Sports Field including bleachers and press box, a New Primary School (K-2) and New
Intermediate School (3-5). Duties of these projects included inspection during all phases from site work
to completion and adherence to all plans and specifications. I also acted as liaison between the Board,
WSG Engineers, the prime contractors, and their various subs and reviewed pay requests prior to approval
by the Engineer.
March 1998-August 1998
Clerk of the Works- Webster County Board of Education, 315 South Main St., Webster Springs,
WV 26288. This project consisted of Contract Number One which is referred to as HVAC
Renovations to the School and Contract Number Two which is the Well Field work. The primary
objective of this project was the demolition and removal of all existing rooftop HVAC equipment at
the Webster County High School and replacement with new Geothermal Rooftop Heat Pump Units
with the addition of new electric re-heat coils in the ductwork. This work also included new
electrical switchboards, new Pump House and associated pumps and piping, duct work cleaning
coating and modifications, new interior piping and valves to all units and chemical treatment. The
well field consisted of two hundred forty wells three hundred feet in depth.
July 1996-Feb. 1998
Clerk of the Works- Raleigh County Board of Education, 100 Adair St., Beckley WV 25801. Project
assignment was the new Beckley/Stratton Jr. High School. Primary duties included the inspection
during all phases of construction and adherence to specifications and plans.
January 1996-July 1996
Construction Inspector – Mason & Hanger, Eng., 22355 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY 40504-
3363. Assignment was the new Electric Optical Center at the Naval Surface Warfare Center at
Crane, IN. Duties included inspection during all phases of construction and adherence to the
specifications and plans. I worked closely with the Navy construction inspection team and acted as
liaison between the Navy, Mason & Hanger and the contractors.
March 1992-June 1995
Resident Project Representative- Dunn Eng. Inc., 701 Virginia St. West, Charleston, WV 25302.
Projects include Southern Regional Jail site utilities in Beckley, WV, North Beckley PSD sewer
plant upgrade, Salt Rock Water PSD- Hash Ridge Project and the Town of Cedar Grove sanitary
extension.

Resident Project Representative- Lawson Engineering and Technical Services, C.E., Box 1419,
Beckley, WV 25801. New 2.05 MGD wastewater treatment plant at Hinton, WV.
December 1988-January 1990
Resident Project Representative – W.K. Dickson, Co., 1924 Cleveland Ave., Charlotte, NC, 28203.
Projects included: New terminal building, new ramp and taxiways, beacon, and all new approach
lighting at the Statesville Municipal Airport, States, NC.
