Superintendent of Schools and Board of Education. Liaison between School District,
A rchitects and Contractors. Oversight of all construction from land clearing
operations to roofing. Building consisted of terrazzo f looring, aluminum windows,
various roofing systems, structural steel, stucco and masonry. Coordinated shop
d rawings and monitored daily activities including septic system and parking lot
construction. Review of progress, payment applications and overall coordination of

1987-1989 Yorktown Central School District, Yorktown, New York
Clerk of the Works for 3.2 M illion dollar bond issue construction
Monitored all prime contractors work through out districts 5 schools. Work included
roofing, f looring replacement, theater construction, lighting replacement, carpent ry, soccer
f ield, curbing, sidewalk and asphalt in parking lots, boiler re-tubing, sound system and new
p hone system.
1983-1986 Ramp Engineering Associates, Manhasset, New York
• S tructural engineer Field Representative : Engineer Representative for large
commercial construction projects.
Project name and location: Stamford Town Center, Stamford, Connecticut
Daily monitoring of construction operation of 4,000 car garage. Structure consisted of post
tensioned cast in place concrete, structural steel, site work, waterproofing, roofing,
f looring, elevators, masonry. Mall contained 2 anchor stores and 6 f loors of retail space.
W hen structure was completed, responsibilities shifted to monitoring tenants’ fi t out
construction relative to occupying retail space. Reporting to Architect’s Representative and
S tructural Engineers.
P roject name and location: Columbus Center Parking Garage, Springfield, Massachusetts .
Multi level parking garage, theater and commercial area.
• S tructural Engineer’s Representative on municipal construction site. Structure
was a post tensioned/cast in place concrete, multi use structure. Responsibilities
i ncluded monitoring daily activities of all contractors. Reporting progress to home
office, supervision of testing laboratory personnel, monitoring change orders work.
Review contractors AIA payment applications.
Project name and location: Ann/Bank Parking Garage. Mul ti level parking garage.
S tructure is precast concrete structure with a concrete topping.
• S tructural Engineer’s Representative Responsibilit ies included monitoring all
contractor activities including but not limited to: excavation, foundations, earth
shoring, reinforcing steel and concrete inspections, compliance of work with plans
and specifications, elevator shaft and elevator installation, parking apparatus
i nstallation, reviewing contractor applications for payment.
1979-1982 Fai rfield Testing Laboratory, Stamford, Connecticut.
Conducted laboratory testing of construction materials collected from sites. Materials
testing consisted of concrete cylinder compression tests, core testing, modified proctor of
soils to determine maximum density of soils. On site inspections included concrete field
testing and reinforcing steel inspections. Steel inspection duties included comparing
approved shop drawings from engineers to installed reinforcing in concrete forms.
