have been developed from positions held within the Oil and Gas industry,
both upstream and downstream including offshore and onshore as well Mining,
Construction and Manufacturing in both Greenfield and Brownfield sites.

strategies. My focus is on developing safety leadership and a positive

West Africa
BHP Billiton has a Project in Liberia and Guinea West Africa to do a
feasibility study for the Mount Nimba and Diecke areas Iron Ore. This
Greenfield Project involves diamond drilling and the development of
infrastructure.
Duties Include:
. Develop safety processes in line with BHP Billiton's Fatal Risk
Control policies
. Development of Risk Assessments and registers for the drilling
projects
. Develop, implement and conduct training for safe working procedures
. Train and assist personnel with the development of JSA's and other HSE
elements
. Oversee, Train and develop National HSE personnel
. Investigate incident and significant events using the ICAM process
. Administer day to day personnel logistical matters.
. Ensure all aspects of the HSE and community elements are fully
functional and in place.
. Overseer elements of the Nimba and Diecke infrastructure building and

project involves the redevelopment of existing facilities and Greenfield
development of new facilities processes and services.
Duties Include;
. Provide assistance with safety walkthroughs, prestart meetings,
toolbox talks, JSA/JHA development and assessment;
. Conduct field Safety Observations and interaction techniques with
personnel for development of desired safe work practices;
. Compile analytical reports and develop statistics of safety behaviour
elements for proactive project personnel development;
. Monitor and report on safe work and at-risk practices associated with
the construction and transport of camp infrastructure and
accommodation; and
. Train and mentor personnel.
