Strategic Pricing Manager – June 2010 – June 2012 (2 years)

Fuji Xerox - Australia

Lead a team of four, managing all Pricing & Commission related functions for Fuji Xerox Australia.

Key responsibilities included:

- Development of pricing strategies for new and existing products across a range of sales channels.

Build and Develop pricing models for products Xerox is going to market with. Models factored in assumptions around revenue

streams, product & market positioning, commission plan structure & budget and background operational processes; effective

presentation of these models were required to management & stakeholders;

Example:

Proposed pricing strategy for Xerox Colour Qube – a product that was technically different to existing product range and had

the ability to erode future revenue streams of current product range significantly. Pricing strategy that was proposed showed no

decrease to current revenue stream and was implemented successfully

- Management of Pricing System and improvement of Business Processes.

Day to day management of Pricing system; overseeing pricing team to ensure correct pricing is implemented daily

Ownership of Pricing policies, streamline control policies, improve workflows and ensure external audit compliance;

Example:

Successfully improved the Non Standard Pricing Approval (NSPA’s) process by streamlining a policy to reduce the number of

NSPA’s received from sales from over 200 per month to approximately 50 per month.

- Management of Global Pricing.

Manage relationship with Global offices, coordinating responses for large RFP’s within the Asia Pacific Region and across

Improve Global pricing processes to streamline the flow of information to and from regional locations

Example:

Created a Global Price Book submitted throughout the region quarterly to stop small pricing requests coming through daily.

This created a central source of information that could be accessed by appropriate personal

- Created, managed and implemented Commission plans for over 150 sales people to align organisational goals to sales incentives

Pricing Analyst (July 2006 – July 2007) / Electricity Pricing Manager (July 2007 – June 2010) (4 years)

Powerco Ltd – New Zealand

Managing the pricing and revenue functions of Powerco; the largest regulated Electricity Lines Company in New Zealand.

Key responsibilities included:

- Sole responsibility and accountability for electricity revenue budget exceeding $300 million per annum.

- Monthly gap analysis detailing reasons for variances against plan.

- Development of annual electricity tariffs to achieve company revenue plan;

- Compliance reporting of revenue threshold and consumer feedback to Commerce Commission;

- Engage and present to internal and external customers (Executive management team, Electricity retailers & Large Electricity users) on

future tariff & pricing structures;

Opened and managed a mid to high end fashion store which stocked a number of New Zealand and Australian leading fashion designers.
