W ELD I NG I NSPECT ION

N ature of work

Welding inspection of CS, SS, and ALLOY STEEL piping according to WPS.

Reviewing the test procedure, welding procedure specification, PQR, WQT, method and

statement.

Witness and procedure qualification testing and qualified welder in both manual and

automatic welding.

Checking the according criteria as per codes and process and standard specification

(ASME B31.3, API 1104)

Preparation of NDT test plan and inspection test and plan.

Preparing test packages as per component list and line class.

Inspection of the Pre Heating, inter pass temp and post weld heat.

Check the essential Parameters as per the WPS requirements and quality procedure.

Visual and Gauges inspection in Fit-up before and after welding.

To check the proper electrodes are used for the respective material and tem has been

maintained as per electrode manual.

Qualify the welders as per the project requirement.

Inspection of Pressure vessels, Heat Exchanger, Columns and Boilers.

PMI jobs perform on incoming material and also know about metallurgy of material.

Detailed Thickness Monitoring of In-service critical piping to ensure reliable and

i ncident free Plant Operation. . Using instruments PANAMETRICS 36 DL PLUS,

D M4DL & CYGNUS.

In case of any leakage, verify WPS for box-up.

External visual inspection of pipelines to see any rust / corrosion and also the

condition of pipe supports especially of steam network.

Inspection of Corrosion under Insulation.(CUI)

Calculation of Pressure Design Thickness, Cor rosion Rate and assessment of

R emaining Life for safe operation of Piping.

STAT IONARY EQU I P M ENT I NSPECT ION

VESSELS / COLOU MS / TANKS / H EAT EXCHANGERS /

Detailed internal inspection of above mentioned stationary equipments in Annual

T/A for any Pitt ing,Rusting,Corrosion,Cracks and preparation of inspection reports

maintaining of inspection history for record and recommending repair procedure as

per code and standard for safe reliable service of plant equipment.

Ul t rasonic Thickness monitoring of in service vessels/columns/shells of heat

exchangers and tank of continuous condition monitoring.

Witness of Hydrostatic and Pneumatic Leaks Testing.

Apply NDT methods such as DPT, MPT, Ult rasonic thickness measurement where

required.

Calculation of Pressure Design Thickness, Cor rosion Rate and assessment of

R emaining Life for safe operation of Equipments.
