As the account rep for the northeast territory for a speaker and home theater manufacture. I was responsible
for twelve offices/warehouses and between eighty to one hundred sales reps and independent contractors
across the northeast region. I made and received up to 60-80 phone calls per day. I entered and processed all
sales orders for reps while always trying to up sell and or offer substitutions and alternatives for product not
available. As our reps primary support I handled most task for sales rep requests such as but no limited to
(RMA’s) returns or exchanges, credit memos etc. I stayed in constant contact with my team, talking to reps
on a daily basis insuring we have the right product available and all marketing materials they need. I made
sure everyone in my territory is up to date and aware of new products and all current promotions, always
working with my reps finding ways to increase sales. Distribution, I was responsible for working with
production and my inventory manager in order to maintain proper inventory levels at each of the warehouses
in my territory. I shipped all of our product from either our main warehouse in Cypress, California or our east
coast distribution center in Clifton New Jersey. I used all available data available including, taking into
account feedback from reps and customers as well as usage/sales from previous months, product availability,
shipping costs and transit times. I was responsible for processing all shipments and transfers in and out of my
warehouses. I traveled in May to Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York conducting warehouse and office
visits. I was responsible for organizing several sales meetings with reps and warehouse management and
staff. At these visits I assisted our sales director in product set up and demonstrations. I am proud to say my
territory was the top sales territory nine of the last ten months I was there.
