Leading dairy producer it the Pacific Northwest revenues $2.5 billion annual revenue. Darigold is the
fourth largest dairy company in the United States and the largest exporter of dairy products.
Director of Supply Chain-Purchasing 2010 to May 2013
Manage all purchasing for the business for the 13 plants and 6 distribution centers for Packaging
Ingredients, Engineering, IT and Capital Spend.
FY 2013 Spend of $207 million for packaging and ingredients and engineering items.
Purchasing team responsible for $15 million dollars in audited savings since 2010, Days on hand
inventory lowered by 40%, through joint plant purchasing, VMI, consignment and renegotiations to
smaller lot sizes.
Established supply chain scorecard teams to review suppliers and improve quality, consistency and
delivery.

• Manage all facets of the milk hauling farm pickup and finished goods delivery and traffic functions.
• Bottom line responsibility for a $110 million dollar operation including 330 milk tanker sets daily
providing dairy products to 31 plants. Finished goods direct store delivery from a fleet comprised of
over 300 Class A drivers and 175 Class 8 tractors in 13 locations throughout the Western United States.
• $90 million Spend includes buying diesel, tractors; refer trailers, forklifts and with third parties for
outsourced warehousing, milk hauling and two in-house logistics providers.
• Leader for Oracle 11i ERP, Lean and Value Map Rollout and 5-S training to employees.
• Oregon Private Fleet Carrier of the Year by the American Trucking Association (twice).
Director of Bulk Milk and Hauling 2003 to 2005
• Responsible for $160 million in annual sales and contracting for raw milk, cream, whey and other
dairy products to non-Darigold companies.
• Purchased, Contracted and managed $45million Annual Spend in milk hauling services from 8
different companies.
• Negotiated multi-year contracts for several hundred million dollars with Key customers including
Kroger, Fred Meyer, and Safeway.
RadioFrame Networks Redmond, WA 2001 to
2003

Startup wireless company creating indoor 802.11 Wi-Fi systems in conjunction with cellular service owned by
Nextel-Orange. Left to return to Darigold, company dissolved shortly afterward.
• Responsible for all Purchasing, Manufacturing and Testing for telecom startup.

Recruited away to Start on-line retail web site for The Body Shop, an international lotions company. The on-
line rights were repurchased by The Body Shop and moved after successful startup.
