CAREER SUMMARY & SKILLS

After graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy, I spent 15+ years

directing every aspect of logistics from supply chain and distribution to

resource utilization and cost reduction. In addition to managing Department

of Defense award winning organizations with up to $1.2 Billion in annual

sales, I was privileged to create a supply and distribution program from

scratch for an Iraqi Air Base and was critical to establishing a unified

Supply Chain for NATO. My experience, leadership, inter-personal and

EXPERIENCE

Managerial Experience

. Supervised workforce of 418 personnel in 15 specialties, supporting

vehicle operations and maintenance, supply and fuels management,

logistics plans, traffic management, training, personnel and

administrative functions.

. Managed 260 employees that processed 200,000 supply transactions and 62

million gallons of fuel annually.

. Led 106 personnel in operating the most diverse and complex fuels

operation in Air Force's Air Combat Command.

. Managed contractual oversight on companies that delivered eight

operational logistics courses for U.S. Air Force.

. Logistical lead for the first mission of Iraqi Special Operations

Forces resulting in liberation of the Tal Afar region.

. Generated and supervised a $35 million re-construction project for the

Iraqi Air Force's premier Air Base.

. Personally mentored Iraqi General, Colonel and select team to

effectively manage newly established Iraqi Air Base.

. Coordinated all manning and budgeted funding for NATO's first Center of

Excellence through international agents.

Process Improvement

. Implemented reciprocal fuel support agreements between the U.S. and

Korean governments and industry to plan and direct emergency bulk fuel

support for two different NATO war plans to sustain all U.S. forces in

Korea.

. Reduced man-hours 59% and recouped $1.5M annually by employing unique

aircraft part repair processing.

. Improved refueling vehicle in-commission rate from 77% to 99% to

effectively issue 62 million gal of fuel annually.

. Directed delivery of 72 million gal of fuel with 10 min. avg. response

time; 20 min. faster than directed standard.

. Developed proposal with HQ Air Force/Iraqi Air Force for Iraqi military

to attend U.S. Air Force logistics courses.

. Created new wartime base deployment plan that redefined and streamlined

the personnel and cargo process.

. Chairman of Energy Management Working group; led the base in developing

and realizing energy savings.

. Refueled more than 38,000 aircraft annually; innovatively pre-

positioned clusters of refueling trucks in high-demand areas and times

to ensure the aircraft were refueled as soon as possible and without

mission delay.

. Generated an environmental management program benchmarked by the Air

Force for subsequent inspections.

. Developed operational models to simulate the increased performance and

efficiency of eliminating individual national supply chains and

implementing a centrally managed and directed NATO Supply Chain

Management.

. Coordinated fuels facility construction plans to ensure capabilities

addressed and costs kept within funding limits.

. Managed complete supply sourcing, re-order, and analytical research of

demand, break, and repair rates to lead the 3rd Supply Squadron to the

Pacific region's best aircraft part availability supply rate for F-15 &

C-130 aircrafts.

. Created material requirement review board designed to provide face-to-

face collaborative analysis within Special Operations Command Central

to manage, review, track, prioritize, and assign action of all material

requirements.

Supply Chain & Warehousing Management

. Directed massive 250,000 item inventory of chemical warfare defense

equipment to enhance critical asset visibility; re-distributed excess

to other bases, saving over $63,000 in acquisition and transportation

costs.

. Monitored 47 accounts with 307,000+ annual fuel transactions while

achieving 99.8% account reconciliation.

. Maintained and controlled $89 million in wartime aircraft spares and

the weapons storage for 2,800 M-16s.

. Accountable officer for on-hand inventory of over 28,000 line items

with a value of more than $340 million.

. 33,136 hazardous items eliminated from inventory and 617 line items

replaced with non-hazardous materials.

. Consolidated and reutilized over $316,000 in hazardous material; saved

storage, handling and disposal costs.

. Operated five separate aircraft part supply centers to support 1 C-130,

1 E-3, and 3 F-15 aircraft squadrons.

. Responsible for minimizing, tracking, controlling, ordering, receiving,

storing, distributing, and disposing of hazardous material through a

single control point to ensure the base minimized its environmental

impact.

Transportation & Distribution Management

. Directed all quality control, procurement, accountability, storage &

distribution for $1.2 billion in petroleum.

. Organized and moved 2000 Iraqi and coalition passengers and 300,000

pounds of cargo safely and securely.

. Directed cargo movement & customer deliveries for all of Korean via

pipeline, truck, sea vessel and rail car.

. Managed operations and maintenance for a 600+ vehicle and material-

handling fleet valued at $25.5 million.

. Directed the planning, movement, and loading of 1,099 tons of cargo and

3,410 passengers ensuring the success of Operation Iraqi and Enduring

Freedom and the largest deployment in B-1 Bomber aircraft history.

. Managed the largest truck refueling fleet in the Air Force while

maintaining a 97% in-commission rate.

. Coordinated U.S. and Korean rail, ground and sea assets to redistribute

more than 600 million gallons of aviation fuel while implementing an

inspection, cleaning, and repair plan of all U.S. fuel tanks in the

country of Korea.

. Authored fuel support plan orchestrating U.S. fuel support and

distribution during Korean Peninsula crises.

Educational/Academia

. Directed U.S. Air Force's premier logistics course, a 4-month master's

level program for field-grade officers.

. Developed mobile training classes; generated easier access to training

and achieved $125,000 annual savings.

. Liaised with national/international forces, industry, and academia to

develop and integrate air & space power.

. Editor of Journal of the Joint Air Power Competence Centre, a

professional publication serving as the forum for innovative thinking

on NATO air power issues with an audience distribution to 37 different

countries.

. Graduated over 770 students annually with expeditionary training

required to thrive in austere environments.

. Created crisis response course that taught airmen how to get to and

establish operations as first-responders.

. Developed doctrine and guided integration, defense planning, concepts,
