• Implemented and executed organizational development and change management strategies based on the Prosci®
methodology.
• During first 30 days held meetings with my direct reports, production leads and operators to communicate
expectations going forward and offer honest feedback as to current performance status including any gaps.
• Deployed and implemented an operations strategy including tools and metrics to measure progress, identify root-
causes and implement corrective action plans.
• Worked with the President and third parties to identify, acquire and build-out a new manufacturing space to
consolidate all Athea operations inside one building.

communication, improved accuracy of order requirements and transparency of responsibilities.

• Worked with National Sales Manager to develop overall comprehensive strategic plan to enter and develop presence
within the key market segments that comprise 85% of Charter Steel’s shipments.
• Created and directed the implementation of a Kanban pull system to address the specific needs of the CFQ market –
short lead times, low inventories and quick response times – which resulted in improved service and shipments 10%
over forecast.
• Created and maintained competitor surcharge and price increase analysis to ensure Charter Steel was tracking with the
competition and capitalizing on the current market dynamics.
• Developed a strategic scorecard analysis to track the key components of the large volume customer negotiation season
that resulted in improved market information and aided the quick and successful close of these contracts.
• Representative for various industry trade groups including the Cold Finished Steel Bar Institute (CFSBI) and its bi-
