In 2013, worked at Neval Thomas low-income public elementary school
preschool classroom. From 2009 to 2010, worked in Bright Beginnings
preschool for children of homeless families. Program is aimed at improving
under-developed communities by reaching out to young children and their
families through the forum of education.
Worked with children as a class as well as one-on-one on developing
communication, literacy, and creative skills through the Jumpstart Session
teaching model. I have an assigned partner child for the full year to spend
the one-on-one time with. Also assist teachers in regular classroom time
during the week.
Fostered early childhood development and positive child relationships with
teachers, peers, and parents.

Understand how all areas of the facility, which is the gym at The George
Washington University, are run and make sure employees are fulfilling their
responsibilities.
Regulate daily activities at the fitness center ensuring that patrons are
having positive experiences.
Report to managers if employees are not performing well, assist managers in
their duties, and undergo a bi-yearly performance review.

Aided therapists in giving patients heat and cold packs, helped patients
with exercise programs, kept clinic organized and clean, and assisted in
development of new therapeutic exercises.

Sunday School Teacher, St. Ann's Catholic Church August 2006 - May 2010
Teach a weekly Sunday School class with another teacher, which
includes coming up with and implementing weekly lesson plans. Have taught
kindergarten, third, and fourth grades as well as four-year-olds.
Trip Leader, GW Alternative Breaks Program September 2009 - Present
Organized and went on weeklong trips for 15 college students to do
community service in the following locations: Greensburg, Kansas;
Kingston, Jamaica; Joplin, Missouri; and Los Angeles, California.
Member-at-Large, Phi Sigma Sigma sorority January - December 2011
Sat on Executive Board of sorority. Represented the sisterhood to the
Executive Board by voicing their concerns to other members of the Board,
heading the Judicial Board, counseling chapter members one-on-one, and
working to improve overall chapter morale. Experienced a lot of personal
growth throughout this period and learned how to work well with many
different types of personalities.
