Migration from BOXI R3 to BI 4.0
The Client had decided to migrate BOXI environment from BOXI R3 SP5 to BI
4.0 get support service provided by SAP and utilize all features and
benefits like, Multi sourcing, Mobile applications provided by the newer
version.
Responsibilities:
. Implemented Migration process for BOXI R3 SP5 to BI 4.0, such as
readiness assessment, deployment plan, Migration and system Upgrades,
Co-Existence Planning, Deployment services and Education delivery
. Migrated those reports/universe using effectively by the business -
created an activity report to capture the usage of the reports and
made a decision based on the information
. Setup BOXI application (includes installation & Authentication & SSO
etc..) in a new Servers
. Created additional Web Intelligence Servers to handle additional
requests and configured the properties of all the services as per the
SAP recommendations.
. Configured all the Properties files in the server to increase timeout
and access images from the reports etc...
. Setup Infoburst application in a new server - using this application
for scheduling the BOXI reports.
. Coordinate with offshore team (team of around 8) to make sure proper
testing is carried out and provide the guidance/resolution to fix the
issue identified during testing.
