My experience involves 20+ years of direct patient Care: in-patient, out-patient and
home health settings. The 1st 10 years I spent working in Med- Surg. “unit focus,
Diabetes, GI, Respiratory, infectious disease and oncology”. The second half involved
mainly Endoscopy procedures, as an admitting, procedural assist and recovery RN. This
past year I have had the opportunity to experience home health, as a private duty nurse.
Duties having included one on one care to post-surgical patients and currently, care and
companionship for a Alzheimer client.
