Business System Analyst
First Banks, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates offer a vast
portfolio of products and services for both individuals and businesses. In
our fourth generation of family ownership, First Banks, Inc. now serves
customers in 144 locations and has $6.51 billion in assets.
Scope of the project was to open a credit card account after assessing the
financial needs, a credit card application was developed and replaced by
the older one. Further the application was to enable maintaining all
information about the corporate clients including their credit history and
the present credit limits.
Roles & Responsibilities:
. Developed a new Credit Card application which was all automated and
replaced the existing system.
. Obtained a detailed knowledge of the business process being followed
in the project environment.
. Extracting the business requirements from the end users keeping in
mind their needs for the application, and documenting it for the
developers.
. Understood the current business process, defined scope of the project
along with position statement. Conducted a budget planning of the
project through walkthroughs and meetings involving various leads from
Development, QA and Technical Support teams.
. Meeting with users and stakeholders to understand the problem domain,
gathering customer requirements through surveys, interviews (group and
one-on-one) along with JAD sessions.
