Monitored, expedited, and updated largest customer (Sprint/ Nextel) on
status of current orders. Ensured orders for cell phone tower components
were produced and shipped to meet or exceed customer expectations whenever
possible. Project for specific position was delayed for 9-12 months
therefore position was eliminated.
Worthington Cylinder CORPORATION - Columbus, OH
Plant Scheduler - Columbus Plant (1998 - 2011)
Managed plant scheduling functions of a manufacturing facility with annual
sales of $70 Million. Job duties included plant scheduling and capacity
planning for all production lines.
. Maintained high productivity and customer satisfaction by ensuring
just-in-time (JIT) delivery of all corrugated and liquid helium
deliveries from supplier.
. Maintained spreadsheets for production totals, production line
averages, and status against monthly and annual production plans.
. Maintained 98% or better on-time delivery for last ten years by
working daily with sales team to expedite critical customer
shipments, and review current plant capacities. Helped implement
